Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 101min - PG13

Oh how wrong can things go when you underestimate the viewing audience. This movie didn't play with the fan base or new audience. See what I wrote about this steaming pile of Turtle leavings here on Web Wombat.

Fletch

Fletch - 98min - PG

Chevy Chase is Fletch, It's a shame that they didn't make more of these.  As I understand there are plans for a reboot. See what I say about Here in my article for Web Wombat.

Horns

Horns - 120min - R

A great movie that makes you think about the power of good and evil. The lines between revenge and justice get blurred in this film.  Take a look at my review Here on web wombat.

Kill Me Three Times

Kill Me Three Times - 90 min - R

A movie that takes a story and cuts it into thee different versions of the same day.  its a good attempt but a little too light in the bad guy department. See the review in Web Wombat.

The ABC's of Death

The ABC's of Death - 129 min - Not Rated

This was recommended to me bay a person who found out I was a movie reviewer. It is a great idea 26 directors have a letter to build a short around.  Well only three are note worthy you can see them as links inside my review on Web Wombat

The Warriors

The Warriors - 92 min - R

Movies seen when you are young may not stand up to age and time. This is a movie that I loved when I was a kid, Not so much as an adult but I sympathies with what the film wanted to be so I couldn't actually give it a red. See what i wrote on Web Wombat.

The Physician

The Physician - 150 Min - R

This was a movie that was chosen for me. A reviewer friend of mine picked a movie at random.  I was impressed with the story and the way that the two cultures were highlighted. A movie I wouldn't have normally seen. Take a look at the Web Wombat review.

An Honest Liar

An Honest Liar - 90 min - N/A

This is a great documentary that gives us a personal look at a man who has stood as a guard for us against the flimflam artist who would rob, cheat and steal our money while taking advantage of our vulnerabilities.  See what I wrote on Web Wombat

The Cobbler

The Cobbler  - 99min - PG13

Adam Sandler has a very specific skill set in his acting. When he has no one to mind him he tends to run his jokes into the ground.  His brouhaha about womanizing female actresses and also his issue with the Native Americans walking off his set. BUT this movie is fine.  Take a look at my review on Web Wombat

True Detective Season 1 (HBO)

True Detective Season 1

This series starts off with a bang, The concept is a great one every season is a new true crime story.  Its dark and depressing but so real in its story arc. The two heroes start as reluctant partners, then they are enemies, and turn out to be fiends, See my review on Web Wombat.

Rosewater

Rosewater - 103min - R

Movies that are based on real life events are hard to to do with out taking too much creative license. As Jon Stewart was in a way partly involved in Maziar's incarceration it makes senses that he  makes a movie. See my review on Web Wombat

Jack Reacher

Jack Reacher - 130min - PG-13

This is an excellent example of  how a few apple boxes and some good casting can make Tom cruse look like The Barrel chested tree of a man known as Jack Reacher.  See my review on Web Wombat
